Backpack Buddies
In support of “Backpack Buddies”, student ambassador Sebastian gained the support of his classmates to assist in raising funds in weekly school snack sales to raise money to support the Backpack Buddy program.
Children of Lebanon Project
Children of Lebanon Project to benefit SOS Children’s Villages, Lebanon. Similar to the Adventures in Candy Land Project of 2006, these elementary school children wrote and acted a play War – What is it for? Their creative abilities raised $647.00 before matching.
Winter Charity Ball
Winter Charity Ball to benefit the Children’s Foundation of Vancouver. Student volunteers from three Vancouver independent schools organized a fun, play money casino night with dancing and a desert buffet evening at a local downtown hotel. With 500 guests in attendance the event raised $5000.00 before matching.
